This is one that I’m proud of. I’ve always said that the reason this blog is of interest to people is that it combines a classically regarded topic (politics) with a newer, hot one (Social Media). There is always a new political scandal, it seems – we’ve had more than a dozen in the six weeks that we have blogged.
I’m very pleased to note that an entry that would have been published in this blog has been published in Voices, the official blog of Governing Magazine. The title is “How Government Leaders Can Stay Out of Social Media Hell.” The entry specifically deals with avoiding becoming a subject of this blog by discussing what steps an elected official – and their staff – can take to avoid a Social Media scandal.
Read, enjoy and comment. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
